Gear Box

Gear boxes are a mechanical device that increases the torque while decreasing the speed of the rotational movement or vice versa, while increasing the speed and decreasing the torque, thanks to the interaction of gears of different sizes and number of teeth in it.

In gear boxes, when a large gear rotates a small gear, the small gear rotates faster but produces less force. Conversely, when a small gear turns a large gear, the large gear turns slower but produces more force. With this operating mechanism, the gearbox provides ease of movement in 90° rotation valve systems.
